The Saskatoon Valkyries women's football team improved their season record to 2-0 after a 58-12 victory over the Winnipeg Nomads Wolfpack in Winnipeg on Sunday.
The Valkyries accumulated a total of 604 yards net offence with running back Julie David scoring five touchdowns, slot back Marci Kiselyk scoring two and defensive back Angie Lang scoring one touchdown off of an interception.
Saskatoon also added one field goal and seven point after converts.
On defence Gillian Allen led the team with 11 tackles and one sack.
The next Valkyries game is Sunday, June 3rd at 1 p.m. at Griffiths Stadium against the Manitoba Fearless.
