Saskatoon
will be hosting a regional Team Canada ID camp Sunday, April 29th at Griffith’s
Stadium. Click here for the Camp itinerary. Cost of the camp is $50. Players from this
camp will be selected to represent Team Sask at the National Challenge Cup in Montreal August 2-9,
2012, where Team Canada will be selected.
Team Sask will be travelling to Montreal to participate in the tournament/jamboree style tryout for Team Canada. This is a player funded tournament, so it is estimated that the cost for each player will be around $1100. This includes airfare, accommodations, two meals per day, instruction, game experience with top players from around the country and a lot of fun. We will be fundraising to help offset the costs.
The World
Championships will be held in 2013 in St. John, NB. The first step to making
the Team Canada roster is participating in the National Challenge Cup in Montreal August 2-9,
2012.
If you are interested in participating, click here to register. New players are still encouraged to participate in this camp!
Many players with minimal experience were crucial to Team Canada’s Silver Medal
at the 2010 World Championships in Stockholm, Sweden.
